Roy Martin was a professional staff member of the National Fisheries Institute for 27 years. Mr. Martin joined the NFI as director of the science and technology department. His responsibilities included long-range development and communication of technologies to aid future advances in the seafood industry, among which included smoked fish research, aquaculture drugs, HACCP, shellfish regulation, and Codex standards. After 42 years in the food industry, Roy retired from the NFI as senior vice president.
